How amazing to worship in a storefront church in Albania! Even though I couldn't understand the language in the songs that were sung, I felt a real communion with the Albanian people. The adults and children truly love the Lord. Their worship was so beautiful.

One of the things I asked the Lord to give me on this trip was a greater sense of humility. That happened watching the children worship during our first visit to Grumbelimi yesterday. Bashkim played praise and worship songs on the guitar; it was so evident to see their love for Christ. Today I watched as the adults worshipped. Entire families (some with 5 children) live in one-bedroom apartments and all families share a community bathroom. They have so little, but are so thankful for what they have.

Lastly, I am amazed at the love and appreciation shown to us by the Albanians. Their smiles say it all - "Thank you for being here, caring about us and loving us."

Thanks, Calvary, for supporting this trip and the building of the first Assemblies of God church in Fushe Kruja. You have made an eternal difference in so many lives (including mine).
