A lot has been accomplished since Calvary began its partnership with Convoy of Hope Europe and its investment in the community of Grumbullimi. Over 50 children were registered for school with clothing and supplies provided. The apartment/warehouse facility that houses the 50 children and their families has been renovated. Now it's time to build a church!

Monday pm
It was a busy, little bit crazy, day here in Albania! My best guess is that someone else had a Monday too. We left the Bible College after breakfast around 8am, driving two cars to the new church worksite. I rode with Juli, who has taken a week of vacation from World Vision to help us get around and translate. The others rode with Nico, who graduated from the Bible College here in 2007 and also plays a crucial role in our communication. After arriving at the site and touring what will be a beautiful church, we had a team prayer. We thank all of your for your continued prayer, it means so much to all of us. Everyone was assigned a task, it was time to get busy! Rick says "We're burning daylight!", I have translated that to "Get to work or else!". I left for Grumbilimi as a part of the children's ministry team. What a blessing these people are, and what a privilage to share Jesus with them. The children are so loving and we can hug them all day! Thanks to the support of their sponsors, many of them have been going to school and are learning so much english. They are now saying how much they love us and how thankful they are. We had lunch at Bashkims house, he visits Grumbilimi at least 3times per week singing praise with the children and sharing God's love for them. After lunch we returned to Grumbilimi to visit and see the children that went to morning school. The classes are divided by morning classes and afternoon, also by days because the classrooms are too small for all of them. We were able to color, blow balloons, throw bouncy balls, pray, share a snack, and a story of salvation with everyone. At the worksite they have a plumbing team and an electrical team. A cleaning team is picking up trash, not only on our lot but around the nieghborhood. We were all home by 6:30 for a wonderful meal prepared by Etmira, who can serve 16 people a warm home made meal at the same time. After a time of sharing and praying together, it was a rush for the showers! We are in line now for the computer so this will be the end of the post for tonight! Good Night America
